This song speaks to the alienation that plagues our culture. Here, our young fool, lost in self doubt, sees/feels the love of his friend. He pushes against a barrier which he, himself has created. Can he allow himself to trust the loving reflection that is coming from outside of him, to allow in all of the love that is around him?

The guitar is a Fender Custom Elite model Telecaster, on loan at that time from brother Wayne Tcheou.
